Athletes

The IPC is an athlete-centred organization and recognizes the importance of promoting athletes in Paralympic Sport all over the world.

Athletes are what makes each competition thrilling, inspiring and unique. To discover information on athletes from various sports, their performances and achievements, please see the subsections 'Athlete Biographies' and 'Athlete of the Month' for more detailed information.

Aiming at further developing the athlete community, the IPC Athlete Club is an online tool and forum for Paralympic athletes to communicate as well as receive athlete-specific information. All Paralympic athletes who have participated at a national, regional or international level are invited to register for the 'Athlete Club'.
