Classification Courses
IPC Shooting is a developing and growing sportand is keen to train Classifiers in as many countries as possible. The main purposes are to enable IPCShooting athletes to get accurate classification at grass roots level as well as to enable them to attain best results based on their eligibility.
The following IPC Shooting Classifier Training course is scheduled for 2013:

Qualification and Process for IPC Shooting Classifiers
The table below outlines the mimimum qualifcation requirements to become and IPC Shooting Classifer
| Profession | Medical Doctor or Physiotherapist |
| Attendance | A two day IPC Shooting Classification Workshop |
| Trainee Level | After the successful completion of the 2-day course the Classifier will be able to classify his/her own country's shooters. If these athletes participate in International Competition their National Classification will be ratified by an International Panel of Classifiers. |
| Level 1 | For a Trainee to become a Level 1 IPC Shooting International Classifier the following steps must be followed: - Maintain the National status by completing 20 classification in their home country - These classifications to be validated by an International Panel at a competition or complete 20 classifications at an International competition under supervision. |
| Level 2 | For an upgrade of Level 1 International Classifier to Level 2 please see the pathway in related documents. |
| Costs | Costs for attendance at an International Competition in order for a Trainee to complete 20 supervised classifications will be covered by the participant or their home country. The only case that travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the organizers is when certified classifiers will be selected by IPC Shooting in order to attend International Competitions. |
| Certification | Trainee - Upon successful completition of the workshop and examination, a letter of attendance of the course will be issued. The Classifier would be a very valuable resource to their NPC in line with the IPC Classification Code. |
