Education Committee
To provide recommendations for the continuous development of IPC educational material and to support the implementation of an education programme on a permanent basis for the international community.
Established to provide advice and consultation to the IPC on matters relating to Paralympic Education
Membership: The Education Committee shall normally be comprised of six members, including the Chairperson and five members at large. The Committee will meet at least once a year.
Function: To provide recommendations for the continuous development of IPC educational material and to support the implementation of an education programme on a permanent basis for the international community.
Main Goals:
To create high-quality Paralympic Education resources for global implementation.
To encourage Paralympic Education Programmes to be implemented worldwide.
To provide trainings for the implementation of Paralympic Education activities.
To promote scholarly research activities and studies about the Paralympic Education Programmes.
Status: The Education Committee was formed in 2006.
