London 2012 Livestream schedule
During the London 2012 Paralympic Games, the IPC will feature more than 780 hours of live sporting coverage on www.paralympic.org.
The daily livestream schedules can be found to the left-hand side of this page, but please note they are subject to change.
The coverage will be streamed across five channels, two of which – swimming and wheelchair basketball – will benefit via a groundbreaking new video player that integrates live footage and results in a single unified and synchronized view.
Developed by the IPC’s worldwide IT partner Atos, the new Sport Media Application in Real Time (SMART) Player is the first of its kind and is set to revolutionize online streaming.
The SMART player uses innovative technology that will enable those watching to view real-time results tickers, statistics, biographies, news and social media all in one integrated and synchronized window.
The IPC’s online action will be sponsored by worldwide partners Samsung and Visa, with all five channels offering English commentary and one offering Spanish commentary.
In addition, the IPC expects to upload more than 1,000 hours of video on demand of other sports during the Games, with action from swimming and wheelchair basketball set to be uploaded within seconds of the events finishing.
