Burundi host national para-sport competition

All members of the National Paralympic Committee of Burundi and a large crowd enjoyed the high-level sport, including sitting volleyball and goalball.

The Gitega Youth Centre, in collaboration with the National Paralympic Committee of Burundi organised a national competition on 20 April that included 17 teams from all over the country.

The competition was the result of training organised by the Agitos Foundation in Rwanda in February 2012 and Senegal in December 2012.
