The world champions will begin tournament play on Saturday 8 March against Sweden and after failing to medal in Vancouver four years ago will be even more determined to win gold in Sochi.

Canada's national sledge hockey team are the first Canadian athletes to arrive in Sochi for the Paralympic Games, to be held 7-16 March.

The sledge hockey players stayed at a hotel on Friday night (28 February) and will move in to the coastal athletes' village on Saturday.
