Over the years Charity & Sport has hosted a number of hugely successful fundraising events, raising over €500,000 for IPC development projects around the world.

The Charity & Sport Foundation is to host the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Flight Dinner in aid of the Agitos Foundation on 4 September, 2013.

The dinner will take place at the Gilze-Rijen airbase and is supported by the Royal Air Force.

Charity & Sport, which has been dedicated to raising money for sports development at the IPC for seven years, last hosted a hugely successful event aboard HNLMS Rotterdam in 2011 and raised 155,000 Euros. It was the first time the ship had been used for an event of that kind.

IPC President Sir Phillip Craven said:

“The International Paralympic Committee is extremely grateful to Rob Visser and Charity & Sport for their continued support

“Over the years Charity & Sport has hosted a number of hugely successful fundraising events, raising over €500,000 for IPC development projects around the world.

“At the last event in 2011 we were on board the Royal Navy vessel HNLMS Rotterdam whereas thanks to the Royal Air Force we celebrate 100 years of military aviation with the IPC Flight Dinner.

“Funds raised from this event will go towards the Agitos Foundation, the development arm of the IPC. It was launched last year to be the leading global organization developing sport activities for people with an impairment as a tool for changing lives and contributing to an inclusive society for all.

“It’s vision is to lead the Paralympic Movement’s aspiration of driving change towards an inclusive society and, thanks to the tremendous support of organisations such as Charity & Sport, this vision is becoming a reality.”

You can purchase a table at the IPC Flight Dinner for 8 people for 4,950 Euros (excluding taxes) or book a single seat for 665 Euros (also excluding taxes), by contacting Rob Visser at info@charityensport.nl or phone +31 (0)6 24 23 94 87
