First para-snowboard cross world cup to be held in Slovenia

As snowboarding gears up for its first ever Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, the 2013 Snowboard Cross World Cup event in Maribor, Slovenia will be an important milestone.

IPC Alpine Skiing is pleased to announce its first ever Snowboard Cross World Cup event, which will be held in Maribor, Slovenia on 10 March. Snowboarders will likely come from the Sochi Snowboard Test Event on 6 March.

Snowboard is the latest addition to the Paralympic Winter Games. For more information about the World Cup event in Maribor, please read the invitation to the left.
