The IPC want to hear the views of individuals and organisations that have been involved with the Paralympic Games via a ‘HAVE YOUR SAY’ forum.

The Strategic Review, which is being led by pmplegacy, the Global Sporting Events Consultancy, aims to build upon the success of the London 2012 Paralympic Games and considers overall Games strategy; sports programme; brand awareness and positioning; operations; games experience; funding and commercial positioning; impact and legacy; broadcast/ media coverage; as well as the bidding process and the Olympic/ Paralympic Games Relationship.

The IPC want to hear the views of individuals and organisations that have been involved with the Paralympic Games via a ‘HAVE YOUR SAY’ forum, which is open until January 2014.

The ‘HAVE YOUR SAY’ forum is one part of a comprehensive stakeholder consultation programme involving National Paralympic Committees, International Federations, IOSDs, athletes, sponsors, broadcasters, Organising Committee representatives and many other stakeholder organisations. The aim is to ensure broad engagement with the Paralympic Family in order to inform a clear understanding of the Games key differentiators, strengths, challenges and opportunities.

The review findings will then be used to provide guidance on the future strategic direction and positioning of the Games, in order to further enhance the Games brand, reputation and success, as well as maximise their appeal and commercial attractiveness. The Strategic Review is due to be completed and reported back to the IPC Governing Board in mid-2014.
