NPC Croatia's mission is to encourage each athlete to develop an uncompromising approach to their sport and achieve what they thought was the impossible.

Croatian Paralympic Committee President Ratko Kovacic received the Charter of the Republic of Croatia from the country’s President Ivo Josipovic on 25 June, which is the nation’s Statehood Day.

He received the honour for his promotion and encouragement of sport activities for people with an impairment and for the top national and international results of Croatian Paralympians.

It is the largest state recognition in Croatia, which just became a member of the European Union on 1 July.

Since Croatia’s Paralympic debut at the Barcelona 1992 Games, athletes have won 14 Paralympic medals, including an all-time high of five total medals at London 2012.

NPC Croatia's mission is to encourage each athlete to develop an uncompromising approach to their sport and achieve what they thought was the impossible.
