The German Disabled Sports Association (DBS) has announced that a live stream of the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships will be available on www.deutsche-paralympische-mannschaft.de and on the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) sports channel. The Championships begin Wednesday (21 October) in Doha, Qatar.

"Last year we were able to inspire with the live broadcast of the European Athletics Championships, the fans of the German Paralympic team,” said Friedhelm Julius Beucher, the President of the DBS. “We are pleased that we can now also offer a live transmission of the World Championships. Almost 11 months before the Paralympic Games [in Rio] a true sporting highlight awaits us.”

All competitions will be provided live and on-demand in high definition, including slow motion replays and TV graphics on www.deutsche-paralympische-mannschaft.de and transferred to www.sportdeutschland.tv.

Team Germany will be represented by 30 athletes at Doha 2015, with 25-year-old Vanessa Low among the highlights. Low will go for gold in the 100m T42, long jump T42 – after winning bronze in both at the 2014 World Championships.
