The Portuguese National Paralympic Committee’s (NPC) first ever congress, will take place at the Escola Superior de Tecnologias da Saude in Lisbon, from 24-25 October.

The theme of the event will be equality, inclusion and sports excellence, and is open to athletes, coaches, managers and others.

The two day event has the goal to motivate the development of physical activity as well as to promote a deeper knowledge both in theory and practice, about Paralympic sport.

The congress will have a number of key speakers, including several personalities from both Portugal and other countries. Among them will be Sir Philip Craven, President of the International Paralympic Committee.
