The schedule for the ice sledge hockey international tournament in Torino Italy, which gets underway on 7 December, has been released by the organisers.

During the first three days of competition, morning games begin at 10am (CET) and afternoon games at 3pm.

European champions Italy will open their campaign on 7 December with an afternoon game against Norway at the Palatazzoli.

World Championships silver medallists from the 2015 A-Pool, Canada, will compete in the morning game against PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games hosts South Korea.

Italy face Canada on the morning of Tuesday (8 December), with the puck dropping on the Norway v South Korea game in the afternoon.

The final day of round robin play takes place on 9 December. Italy will get to test their mettle against South Korea who are newly promoted to the A-Pool for 2015-16.

Canada v Norway concludes the action on the Wednesday before players can enjoy a well-deserved break before the first and third place matches on Friday and Saturday.

The four national teams will arrive in Torino this week for training sessions and an exhibition match on Saturday (5 December) between Canada and South Korea at 6:30pm.

In 2013 and 2014 editions of the tournament, Russia took home the trophy. Past winners also include the Czech Republic and Norway.

Entrance to the entire competition is free to spectators.

As was the case in past years, the event will be broadcast live in its entirety on Italian channel Rai Sport, which also will offer highlights and interviews.

Live coverage will also be available on IPC Ice Sledge Hockey’s website.
