Ostend, Belgium, will host the second UCI Para cycling Road World Cup of the year from 18-21 May, with some of the world’s best Para cyclists in attendance.

Dutch and Italian riders are hoping to celebrate more victories in Ostend following their successes at the first World Cup in Maniago, Italy, last weekend.

Dutch Paralympic gold medallists Jetze Plat (men’s H4) and Alyda Norbruis (women's C2), and Italy’s Rio 2016 champions Luca Mazzone (men’s H2) and Paolo Cecchetto (men’s H3) will be some of the big names competing.

The third and last World Cup will be held in Emmen, the Netherlands, from 30 June-2 July.

The road season will come to a close with the UCI Para cycling Road World Championships in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, from 31 August-3 September.
