Tunisian sport and youth minister visits Iran NPC

Maher Ben Ziaa, the Sport and Youth Minister of Tunisia, visited the Iran National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Headquarters.

Accompanied by a number of ministry officials, Maher Ben Ziaa, the Sport and Youth Minister of Tunisia, visited the Iran National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Headquarters in October.

In the meeting, Mahmoud Khosravivafa, President of Iran NPC, warmly welcomed the Tunisian delegation and referred to the outstanding achievements that Iranian athletes with impairments have had so far and have caused Iran to be leading example of the growth of para-sports at regional and global levels.

He also referred to the National Paralympic Day initiatives, which was celebrated on 12 October, that served as a model for many countries to promote sports among peoples with impairments.

In this meeting, Ziaa thanked the warm welcome for the Iran NPC and referred to special attention of his government to help develop para-sports in his country. He advised the NPCs of the two countries to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to develop their bilateral cooperation in different aspects of para-sports.
