The Canmore Nordic Centre will play host to the opening World Cup of the season in Canada’s Rocky Mountains.

Located 105km west of Calgary, it has 20km of trails that can be covered with man-made snow if the weather does not co-operate.

The biathlon range features 31 firing lanes and 6.5km of the skiing trails can be illuminated for night skiing.
