Membership Relations is responsible for liaising with members [National Paralympic Commitees (NPCs), International Organizations of Sport for the Disabled (IOSDs), Regional Organizations, International Federations (IFs)]. It conducts general correspondence and replies to IPC membership inquiries. It maintains database records and current statistics on membership event participation for all IPC Standing Committees. In addition, the Memberships Relations Department is also taking care of Nationality Code issues.

The Membership Relations Department organizes the IPC General Assembly and is responsible for the compilation of the IPC Directory. It is also monitoring the application process for new member nations and international sport federations, and making sure that current members are in compliance with IPC Rules and Regulations.
