Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games Classification Master List

The Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games Classification Master List (the List) is a list of athletes with an international sport class and Paralympic sport class status (*) for all Paralympic sports on the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games Programme. One List is created per IPSF (International Paralympic Sports Federation).

The updated Lists below include the athletes that have been accredited for participation in the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games by their respective National Paralympic Committee (NPC). The data on those Lists have been transferred to BOCOG for the creation of the Classification Evaluation Schedule. Further changes to athlete sport class data will be handled by the respective IPSF in accordance with the policies and procedures applicable to the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games (see Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games Classification Guide ).

The final Beijing Classification Master List goes out in the end of July, and will only include the athletes duly qualified and entered by their NPC for the Paralympic Games. A Classification schedule for PNS and PRS athletes will be distributed to NPCs in early August 2008.

All PNS and PRS athletes are required to arrive at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games on 31 August in order to be available for scheduled classification evaluation from 1 to 4 September 2008. it is the responsibility of the NPC, through the Chef de Mission, to ensure that athletes on the Classification Evaluation Schedule are available and present at the designated time and location.
