Jennifer Armbruster will be making her fourth consecutive Paralympic appearance at ATHENS 2004. As the captain and senior member of the US Women´s Goalball Team, Armbruster is also the leading scorer. Armbruster will be competing at ATHENS with fellow team-mates Lisa Banta, Nicole Buck, Jessica Lorenz, Asya Miller and Robin Theryoung. Four of the team (Armbruster, Banta, Buck and Theryoung) are full-time as resident athletes at the U.S. Olympic Training Centre in Colorado Springs where they have had access to the best facilities and resources, including the team coach and Armbruster´s father, Ken Armbruster. Armbruster is also a staff member of the Department of Blindness and Low Vision Studies, at Western Michigan University.
