Jonas Jacobsson, from Norrköping, Sweden has been competing at the international level for over 20 years. In his two events- Free rifle and Air rifle - he has collected a very large medal haul. Included in his treasure chest are 16 gold medals from Regional Championships, 11 World Championship gold medals collected from 1979 to 2003 and nine gold, one silver and 11 bronze Paralympic Games medals. Jacobsson has competed at every Paralympic Games since 1980, making ATHENS 2004 his 7th Paralympic competition and making Jacobsson one of the most experienced and successful Paralympians.
