Garret Hickling from British Columbia, Canada, has represented his country in Wheelchair Rugby for over 10 years. Since beginning the sport in 1993, he has attended every World Championships and has been named most valuable player on each occasion. ATHENS 2004 will be his third Paralympic competition, where he will be attending as the co-captain of the Canadian team. Hickling is a recipient of numerous awards for his performance in the Canadian national league for his provincial team the BC Bandits who he has led to 11 national victories.
