Michael Teuber´s list of accolades continues to grow in his lead up to the ATHENS 2004 Paralympic Games. He now holds 2 world records in the 3000 and 4000m Pursuit, 5 IPC World Championship goal medals and 12 IPC European Championship goal medals. He has made a clean sweep in all of his eligible events at the IPC European Championships three times in a row, in 1999, 2001 and 2003. Earlier this year he made an attempt for the world´s best one-hour performance and his result of 38,473km is currently awaiting ratification through the IPC Cycling SAEC. Teuber is placed at the top of the world-ranking list for the LC4 category and will be aiming for gold in the Track Pursuit and the Road Event at the ATHENS 2004 Paralympic Games. He is also an advocate for disability cycling, a competition organiser and an ardent campaigner for the inclusion of the more severely disabled in the Paralympic Games.
