Jayne Craike has always been an avid horse rider and she has turned that passion into Gold. Following a horse riding accident at the age of 16, Craike vowed never to ride again. She is now a two-time participant in the Paralympic Games, and earned one gold and one silver medal at the Sydney Paralympic Games in 2000. She has also turned her passion into a job, owning her own equestrian centre in New Zealand to cater specifically for riders with a disability. Craike is New Zealand's top Paralympic Dressage rider, currently ranked number one in the world and also competes in the New Zealand Equestrian Federation's national Dressage circuit.
