The list of achievements on Ernst Van Dyk´s resume is already impressive. At 31 years of age, Van Dyk holds four world records in Wheelchair Racing including the only person to date to break the 1 hour 20 minute barrier for the Marathon, has won the prestigious Boston Marathon four years straight (2001,2002, 2003 & 2004) and has obtained a BA in Sports Science. And that´s not even mentioning his awards. With more than ten wins on the International Circuit for 2003, Van Dyk is in top form leading up to the ATHENS 2004 Paralympic Games and will be one of the most experienced members of the South African team.
