During the event, the programme for people of a Greek origin living all over the globe, “Greeks Abroad”, was presented by the relevant Manager, Demetra Egan. The programme aims to bring together Greeks from around the world under a common cause: the 2004 Games. The event was concluded with a concert given by George Beliris, a visually impaired musician from Volos. In the framework of the ATHENS 2004 Communicators Program, a number of presentations for raising awareness for the organisation of the Paralympic Games have been scheduled in other cities of Greece.    The Paralympic Village
