The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is the global governing body of the Paralympic
Movement. The IPC organizes the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games, and serves as the International
Federation for nine sports, for which it supervises and co-ordinates the World Championships
and other competitions. The IPC is committed to enabling Paralympic athletes to achieve sporting
excellence and to developing sport opportunities for persons with a disability from the beginner to
elite level. In addition, the IPC aims to promote the Paralympic values, which include courage,
determination, inspiration and equality.
As one of the largest sports organizations in the world, the International Paralympic Committee
(IPC) is the international umbrella organization of sport for athletes with a disability.
Our key focus is on the organization, supervision and co-ordination of the Paralympic Summer
and Winter Games, and the daily management of Paralympic sports under IPC Governance.
IPC Classification Administration Manager (m/f)
at the IPC Headquarters in Bonn, Germany.
If you are an energetic, open-minded individual for whom working in a dynamic team in a
global sports organization could be challenging, and you
- have a Graduate degree or equivalent,
- have a strong interest in sports science and/or sports medicine,
- have excellent organizational skills and are computer literate in MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook),
- have excellent English verbal and written skills (knowledge of other languages is an advantage),
- have a proven ability to meet deadlines, to operate with limited supervision and to multitask in a fast changing environment,
then we would like you to join our team. Experience in the field of Paralympic Sports and/or
Paralympic Sport Classification certainly is an added value to your profile.
The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Monitor the implementation of classification rules and regulations in IPC Sports in accordance with the IPC Classification Code;
- Assist the IPC Sports Department in the co-ordination of classification opportunities in IPC Sports and classifier training programmes;
- Manage the development of models for classifier education on the basis of existing programmes;
- Assist the IPC Membership in retrieving compliance with the IPC Classification Code;
- Support the activities of the IPC Classification Committee.
Occasional travels to represent the IPC in classification related meetings and to support the
IPC Classification Programme at Major Competitions and Games are part of the job expectation.
This position will report directly to the Medical & Scientific Director.

IPC Winter Sports Project Co-ordinator (m/f)
at the IPC Headquarters in Bonn, Germany

- have a Bachelors degree, sports administration or related field
- have working knowledge in Winter sports, preferably Ice Hockey and experience in sports management at national or international level.
- have excellent organizational skills and are computer literate in MS Office programmes, especially Excel
- have competency in designing computer programming applications
- have excellent English verbal and written skills (knowledge of other languages is an advantage),
- have a proven ability to meet deadlines, to multitask and to operate with limited supervision

The main responsibilities of this position are:
- Maintenance of sport results and records, data input and archiving
- Maintenance of sport ranking data and publication of sport ranking lists
- Conduct quality control exercises on sport results, rankings
- Preparation of statistical reports relating to sport results, rankings data
- Assist in maintaining the international sport calendar for IPC Winter Sports
- Maintenance of the classification/documentation for IPC Winter Sports
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of reports and other publications for IPC Winter Sports
- Conduct day-to-day administrative activities and provide service support to IPC Winter Sports operations

we will offer you the possibility to work with us as an apprentice. During your three year vocational training as Clerk for Office Communication with the IPC, you will become familiar in handling computer systems as you create reports, presentations and take care of mail correspondence, prepare meetings, support the Administration, Finance, Sports and HR department and mastermind/coach first projects on your own. Working with the IPC, you should be a spirited and powerful person and possess excellent
