Korean President Park Geun-Hye says PyeongChang 2018 will be transformational

President Park Geun-hye said: Congratulations on the silver jubilee of the International Paralympic Committee. The IPC has done so much to support better lives for disabled people around the world, to strengthen social cohesion and help promote world peace through sports. Ever since the 1988 Seoul Paralympics, sport for those with disabilities has made great strides in Korea. Today, that impassioned momentum is being carried through as we look ahead to PyeongChang 2018. Korea will make sure that the PyeongChang Paralympics is one where disabled athletes can be all that they can be. One where they can enjoy sports to the full. My congratulations once again as the IPC turns 25.
