PROGRAMMES

We deliver several programmes on a global or sub-regional basis, which are either administered and delivered directly by Agitos Foundation staff, in conjunction with partners, or enabled via grants to IPC members, so that they can build resource and deliver development activity locally.

GRANT SUPPORT PROGRAMME

An annual pool of funding that IPC member organisations can apply for to deliver projects that develop athletes, raise awareness about the Paralympic Movement or develop Para sport.

NPC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The NPC Development Programme aims to build capacity within National Paralympic Committee’s around the world. Supported by the IPC’s Worldwide partnership with Toyota, the programme will run until 2024 and will reach over 140 countries.

I'mPOSSIBLE

The Paralympic Movement aspires to change perceptions and bring about social inclusion through Para sport experiences, including the accomplishments, stories and experiences of Para athletes. Aimed at young children in schools, we provide a toolkit of resources for teachers to share the Paralympic values and inclusion through Para sport to the next generation.

PROUD PARALYMPIAN

Athletes are at the heart of everything we do. Proud Paralympian provides education about Paralympic values and practical support throughout an athlete’s career. Our aim is to maximise their talent and to develop committed ambassadors capable of inspiring the next generation.

ROAD TO THE GAMES

Multi-year programmes that aim to develop additional organisational capacity in countries and sub-regions where a Paralympic Games or major event is due to be held. Programmes normally feature a partnership with the Organising Committee of each Games as part of their legacy commitments.

EN SUS MARCAS, LISTOS... INCLUSIÓN

Through the exchange of experiences, homogenisation of access routes to Para sports practice and the creation of a regional training programme, the project aims to reinforce the national Paralympic structures in Latin American countries and its regional integration, facilitating access of people with disabilities to practising sport, and as a result, favour its social and economic inclusion.
