Why this sport?
She first tried cross-country skiing at school, and began to pursue the sport after meeting Canadian Para Nordic skier Colette Bourgonje. "She helped me along the way when I was getting started because I didn't know who to contact. We would go ski together and try and learn something, and she would point me in the right direction.
