HOME LIFE
Following the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, he managed to secure a two-bedroom apartment for his family from the local authorities in Odessa, Ukraine. His wife and his daughter are also visually impaired. He credits coach Tatiana Orlova for giving him the push to pursue success, which led to governmental assistance in his family life. "I always dreamed of living in a bright, cosy apartment where my children could have somewhere to play.
