When and where did you begin this sport?
She began powerlifting in July 2008.
Why this sport?
She was active in shot put, discus and javelin but during weight training she discovered she liked Para powerlifting more. "Winter in the Netherlands is very cold and you have to train outside. I didn't like it so I looked for a sport where I could train inside."
