From 13-14 May 2016, Arizona Disabled Sports hosts the 2016 IPC Athletics Grand Prix Desert Challenge Games.

The event is open to American and international male and female athletes with a physical or visual impairment.

Located just 32km east of Phoenix, Mesa is home to nearly 500,000 people and is nearby Arizona State University, home to several top collegiate sports teams.
