The Brazilian Paralympic Committee’s state of the art training centre in Sao Paulo will stage the year’s second Grand Prix from 26-28 April.

The multi-sports facility opened its doors in May 2016 and hosted the 2017 Youth Parapan Am Games.

Many of Brazil’s London 2017 world champions including Petrucio Ferreira, Daniel Martins and Thiago Santos are set to star in the sixth edition of the Loterias Caixa Athletics Open Championships.

Brazil has been an ever present on the World Para Athletics Grand Prix calendar with São Paulo’s Ícaro de Castro Mello Stadium hosting the first three editions between 2013 and 2015. A year later, Rio's Olympic Stadium staged the event, which doubled up as a Test Event for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, before it moved back to Sao Paulo and the training centre in 2017.
