The National Paralympic Committee of Tunisia will organise Africa’s only Grand Prix of the year, the 12th Tunis International Meeting, between 22-24 June.

In recent years, Tunisia has established itself as a leading nation in the sport, finishing sixth in the medals table at the London 2017 World Para Athletics Championships.

Many of the host nation’s star athletes are set to compete in Tunis, an event that has seen the number of competing athletes increase each year.

Because of the location and warm climate, Tunisia is one of the prime destinations for neighbouring countries and even those further afield.

The Tunis athletics meeting is a good opportunity for competitors to train and evaluate their technical level to reach other major sports events.
