The competition

The 2016 Ice Sledge Hockey Pan Pacific Championships will be held at HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, New York, in the USA, from 29 March-2 April.

Buffalo 2016 will be the first Pan Pacific Championships in the history of ice sledge hockey, and will be held at the same venue as the incredible 2015 World Championships A-Pool.

Teams that will compete at HARBORCENTER will be reigning Paralympic and world champions the USA, Canada, South Korea and a Pan Pacific team, made up of players from Japan and the other participating countries.

The venue

HARBORCENTER in Buffalo, New York, contains two ice rinks and a host of other of features.

The competition will be held in rink one.

o Seating capacity of 1,800+ people

o NHL-size rink dimensions (200 ft. x 85 ft.)

o Fully outfitted for sledge hockey play

o A wood truss ceiling showcases the rink’s design

o The home rink of Canisius College’s NCAA Division I ice-hockey team

o The home rink of the Buffalo Junior Sabres youth hockey organisation
