Hoy (25 de julio) se conmemora el Día Mundial de la Discapacidad Intelectual.

Impulsada por Virtus, la Federación Internacional de Deportes para Atletas con Discapacidad Intelectual, esta jornada busca generar conciencia sobre la discapacidad intelectual, derribar estereotipos y crear oportunidades para que las personas compartan sus historias, aspiraciones y aportes a la sociedad.

En los Juegos Paralímpicos París 2024 se disputaron eventos de medalla para atletas con discapacidad intelectual en Para atletismo, Para natación y Para tenis de mesa.

Conoce a algunos de los debutantes Paralímpicos que protagonizaron actuaciones memorables y conquistaron medallas en la capital francesa.
