Norway have been trying very hard to return to their Paralympic medal levels, and they are undoubtedly heading in the right direction. Their roster for the European Championships remains similar to previous events with many familiar names from both the World Championships A-Pool in 2015 and the Winter Paralympics in 2014, and the current lineup proved extremely successful at the recent tournament in Sweden. It may be that they have turned a corner and they could well be in the hunt for a medal this time around.

Key players

Netminder Kjell Christian Hamar has kept Norway in the game on more than one occasion, while both Emil Sorheim and Loyd-Remi Solberg have been reliable goalscorers at recent tournaments.
