Sport specific information

When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up Para swimming in 2009.
Why this sport?
He was passionate with sports and enrolled in cricket, athletics and football at school prior his injury. After his accident, his dad suggested that he should take up Para swimming. "I did [swimming], but I did not enjoy it at all. After just one week I quit. A few months later I decided to give swimming another go. My dad arranged for a personal instructor at the gym to coach me. After a few months of training, the instructor advised my dad that I should get proper coaching. Swimming has certainly changed my life. I realise that nothing is impossible if you are prepared to put your mind to it."
