Why this sport?
In 2002, while living in the town of Ulyanovsk, she watched a wheelchair dance sport competition. She had never danced before, but decided to learn. After moving to Tyumen, he mother met a young woman in a wheelchair in a market, and told her that her daughter wanted to train in wheelchair dance sport. The girl gave her mother the telephone number of a local dancer, who helped Kotmanova contact the local dance studio and become involved.
