Hamburg 2018: French women’s team named

France have named the 12 women who will compete at August’s IWBF World Wheelchair Basketball Championships, in Hamburg, Germany.

The squad features three changes from the team that qualified for the World Championships at last year’s European Championships in Tenerife, Spain.

The three new additions are Anne-Sophie Rubler (1.5), Marie Carliez (2.0) and Lucie Nolet (2.0).

It will be the French team’s fifth appearance at a World Championships, with their highest finish being fifth when they hosted the tournament in St Etienne in 1990.

The World Championships will take place between 16-26 August.
