The bid process for hosting the 2013 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey Paralympic Winter Games Qualification Tournament has officially opened.

The tournament is a major international winter sport competition for athletes with an impairment.

Past IPC Ice Sledge Hockey events have been successful in terms of team performances, logistical support and media coverage.

The top two or three nations – depending on where Russia finishes – will move on to the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, which is the sport’s highest level of competition and is expected to receive worldwide media attention.
