“Those who get hold of one of these remaining tickets will get the chance to witness amazing athletes and sport like never before during what will undoubtedly be a time of extraordinary pride for our nation.”

Remaining tickets for the London 2012 Paralympic Games will go on sale on a first-come, first-served basis at on Friday (2 December) at 1:00 (GMT).

Following unprecedented interest a year out from the London 2012 Paralympic Games, more than a million tickets have already been sold.

However, a number of great tickets will still be available to purchase before Christmas when they go back on sale, including some for medal sessions.

Full price tickets start at just £10, with tickets for young people and seniors costing only £5. Tickets will be available from www.tickets.london2012.com or via telephone at 0844 847 2012.

“Following the unprecedented demand for Paralympic tickets earlier this year, these tickets are a wonderful opportunity to take family and friends to the Games next year – a fantastic Christmas gift,” LOCOG CEO Paul Deighton said.

“Those who get hold of one of these remaining tickets will get the chance to witness amazing athletes and sport like never before during what will undoubtedly be a time of extraordinary pride for our nation.”
