The French Paralympic and Sports Committee (CPSF) celebrated its 25th anniversary during its second annual meeting in Lyon, between 24-26 April.

Representatives from nine sports federations (Handisport, adaptive sports, rowing, badminton, canoe, equestrian, judo, archery and triathlon), 30 Paralympic and world medal winners and International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Vice-president Andrew Parsons attended the event.

CPSF President Emmanuelle Assmann said: “Together we have already accomplished great things, but even bigger ones await us.

“Thank you to the champions, the flag bearers, heads of missions, CPSF Board of Directors and all the employees. Without them, our soul and spirit would not function. Thank you to our partners because they have been essential throughout our history.

“And thank you to our member Federations. Together, we will continue to raise high the flag of the Paralympic Movement.”
