Alpine skiing, powerlifting and Nordic skiing take centre stage in the final month of 2018

World Para Alpine Skiing World Cup

The Italian resort of Sella Nevea will stage the first event of the season after a successful Europa Cup in early 2018. It will be the perfect time for skiers to get to know the slopes ahead of the 2019 World Championships.

World Para Nordic Skiing World Cup

Vuokatti, Finland, will host the season-opener for the second consecutive year from 12-19 December.

Men’s South America Championships

Five wheelchair basketball teams will secure spots at the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games in the Peruvian capital city. Canada, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and USA are the five already qualified teams.

Bogota 2018 Para Powerlifting Americas Open Championships

A total of 155 powerlifters from 29 countries seek qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games on Colombian soil between 5 and 9 December.

Belgrade 2018 World Shooting Para Sport European 10m Championships

The first Europeans since 2013 will take place in the Serbian capital city between 4 and 6 December.

IWAS Wheelchair Fencing World Cup

The last competition of the year will take place in Kyoto, Japan, between 13 and 16 December.

PTT Copa Costa Rica

The Central American country will stage the Para table tennis event from 6-8 December.

BISFed 2018 Dubai Boccia World Open

The year’s last boccia competition will be held in the United Arab Emirates between 15 and 21 December.
