USA Wheelchair Rugby has announced the roster for the GIO International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF) World Championship set for Sydney, Australia, from 5-10 August.

Ranked second in the world, the USA will face Colombia in their opening Pool B match of the competition. Fierce rivals Canada, European champions Great Britain, France and Poland have also been drawn in Pool B.

The Paralympic silver medallists head into the Championships knowing overall victory will not just secure them a world title but a spot at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Seven of the squad for the World Championships featured at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games where the USA narrowly lost out on gold to Australia 59-58.
