Nur Sultan 2019 Information for Athletes

The 2019 World Para Powerlifting Junior and Senior Championships will take place from 12-20 July.

Athletes wishing to compete in Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana) can find here all information relating to their participation, including forms for download.

Competitors are encouraged to check this page regularly for updates.

Eligibility Criteria

To compete at the Junior Championships, athletes must be a maximum of 20 years old by 31 December 2019.

To compete at the Senior Championships, athletes must be a minimum of 15 years old by 31 December 2019.

All athletes must have be licensed to compete in 2018 and have an international classification status of New, Review, Review + Fixed Date or Confirmed.
