Entry criteria

All athletes entered in the event must be licensed for the 2018-2019 winter season by the time of the final entries deadline. Athletes’ entries not meeting this criterion will be rejected by World Para Ice Hockey.

Those athletes who have never been classified ("New") or have a designated sport class status of "R“ (Review) will be required to go through International Classification prior to the start of the Ostrava 2019 World Para Ice Hockey Championships.

The distance from the hotel to the ice arena is 8 km, a journey time of approximately 10-15 minutes.

Transport

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) will provide a transportation service from Airport Ostrava, Prague, Katowice (PL), Krakow Airport (PL), Vienna (AUS) to the Radisson Park Inn hotel (on official arrival/departure days or other days as agreed), and from the hotel to the ice arena for the duration of the Championships (24 April - 5 May 2019). The LOC Transportation Manager will help NPCs with flight organisation in relation to transport to venue.
