    World Para Powerlifting, in cooperation with its education partners, IPC Academy and World Academy of Sport (WAoS), is committed to the continued learning of all parties within the Paralympic Movement. The document “World Para Powerlifting pathways and education courses 2017-2020” has all the relevant information on our available education courses. You can find the document on the left hand side of this page. From this document you will be able to identify pathways, participant profiles, the requirements for attending any face to face course and the learning outcomes that you should expect.

    Hosting education courses

    World Para Powerlifting welcomes initiatives from NPCs, NFs and LOCs to host education courses. If you are interested in hosting World Para Powerlifting education courses please use the documents provided in the download section on the left hand side for guidance.

    IPC Introduction to Para Sport online module (available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian)

    This introductory course is free to register and is open for everybody who wants to learn more about the IPC and the Paralympic Movement. You might be an athlete, a coach, a referee, sport medical practitioner, event organiser or generally just an interested supporter of Paralympic Sport or the Paralympic Games looking to test their knowledge.
