This is the first time the public has been asked to decide the ‘Athlete of the Month’, a title given to the athlete or team deemed to have put in the biggest or best performance in the last month.

Voters have until Wednesday 6 October 2010 to cast their vote via the ParalympicSport.TV facebook page and this month the shortlist consists of two teams and three athletes.

Despite starting second on the final day of racing in the 2.4m World Championship Sailing in Hoorn, Netherlands, the Canadian Paralympic Gold Medalist from 2008 made sure he added to his trophy collection with another victory.
