PyeongChang 2018 Countries - Romania

Romania has yet to claim its first medal at the Paralympic Winter Games.

The NPC made its debut at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.

Laura Valeanu is the only athlete to represent Romania at the Paralympic Winter Games, as she competed in the women's alpine skiing slalom standing and giant slalom standing in both 2010 and 2014.

Valeanu's best result was a fifth place in the women's alpine skiing slalom standing in Sochi.

She finished third in the women's slalom standing at the 2015 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in Panorama.
